其標題為:「從虛擬到現實 暴力無所不在」
報導的內容主要是針對當下風行的網路遊戲中,日趨嚴重的實質金錢交易與以現實暴力解決遊戲糾紛而作的探討。記者在一開場的言詞中,就直指網路遊戲所主推的「自由對戰」賣點,讓許多玩家為了成為「殺人王」而無所不用其極。
雖說追根究底起來,玩家間的廝殺只是過渡競爭的社會意識之延伸。然則理應用來逃避現實、抒解壓力的遊戲,何以變成另一個虛擬社會的原因,卻是值得深思熟慮的。或許這正反映著社會上因錯誤的政治操作而過剩的暴戾之氣,也或許這是盲目引進的韓國網路遊戲集體對抗概念的根本謬誤。
此時反觀主流以單機遊玩為主的主機遊戲市場,幾乎可以說完全沒有這種玩家間彼此直接衝突的局面。也許反論者可以說,主機遊戲玩家間本來就不會互相關連,當然不會有衝突。但是近年來主機連線也已經是十分普及的現象,諸如Capcom推出的Monster Hunter以及Square-Enix所經營的Final Fantasy XI皆是實例。而這些遊戲上市至今,也沒有看到因遊戲中所發生的狀況而導致的現實糾紛現象。
其實有深入研究兩種遊戲型態的人都會很快發現,主機與PC網路遊戲在基礎的設計概念上,就有著南轅北轍的差異。主機遊戲除了以競爭為中心概念的格鬥或競賽類遊戲外,其中心思想都是在於以遊戲的遊戲性來「取悅」遊戲的玩家。因此即便是有讓玩家間互動的連線遊戲,也依然是在玩家間不彼此摩擦產生不悅情緒的前提下,來給予玩家歡樂的回饋。而PC網路遊戲,其核心則在於讓玩家從無上的「成就」中獲得快感。但成就這種東西畢竟是相對的,一定是要有劣勢者才能顯示出成功者的驕傲。因此也就無可避免地,將社會型的所有行為,原原本本地複製到遊戲的虛擬世界中。
於是乎,在此可直接斷言:主機遊戲才是真正的王道!

辦公室戀情

Today, let us take a close look at the topic of office romance.
First of all, let us ask, why is there office romance anyways? Why does it happen at all, since there are at least a dozen other ways to meet the opposite sex?
The most apparent reason of all is that we spend so much of our time in the office. (In some cases, way too much) And when people mingle together all the time, sooner or later friendly gestures will escalate into……well, you know.
Then of course, is the feeling of mutual companionship between co-workers, especially those working in similar fields or related projects.
And while employers usually discourage or even try to ban such actions, it is simply inevitable.
After all, humans are just humans, and hormones usually beat down reason with ease.
Hmmm…did I just say anything?

布拉格好
After a considerable amount of studying.
I've decided to use Prague as the first stage of my new story.
Not only is it close enough to Romanian and Germanic areas, it also has a vast length of history that reaches all the way back into the Dark Ages, which is of course more than enough for my needs.
All said and done, I still haven't really started the project yet.
Which is, I must admit, a direct result to serious lack of sleep.
I just can't seem to sqeeze out enough time for myself to get a decent night's sleep.
And without that, my thoughts just keep clouding up......
Growl!!
Who said the gaming industry was all about pleasure?
Sure~~~pleasure of players built on the pain of designers.

慢有慢的玩法
Recently, I've been spending most of my gaming on a slow-paced very relaxing SLG (some call it TRPG) from Konami: "Twelve: Sengoku Fuushinden".
Well, actually, the game itself wasn't meant to be slow.
Due to the fact that the PSP reads stuff from the UMD in an awkward pace, every action in the game takes a lot of time to accomplish.
Which, in result, makes the game very very SLOW.
But, heh, SLGs are just like chess games.
And those things meant to take time~~~
So it really doesn't matter anyway.
Besides, the voice acters really did a good job in bringing out the personality of those game characters.
I just hope I can get through this game before Wanda shows up.......

昨天晚上去看電影前
不小心走進華納旁邊的Hi-life
結果發現本來販賣的原裝進口午後紅茶
竟然換成了廉價的南部生產版
這真的不是崇洋媚外
只是比較過的人都知道
二十塊的價差
就代表著香郁與口感的極大差異
這真的不禁讓人感慨
這塊土地....難道真的是個次等世界不成?

期待惡魔獵人三特別版
Personally, I really think that Vergil is Much more attractive than Dante.
Not only does he dress better, even his katana is much more stylish than Dante's rather regular broad-sword.
But from the looks of it, he's not going to have too many long range weapons, pity.

Interface Artist
當介面美術看不懂文件所使用的語言時,將會是一件頭痛到無限大的問題。
所有的版面皆是似是而非,遺漏了需要的東西他也未必知道。
最慘的是,跟他講錯在哪裡,他還未必聽得懂。
如此作業方式不但消耗時間,也十足消耗情緒。
由這種慘痛的經驗我們可以得知,所謂的技術人員並不是只有技術好就是好的。
以上。

It's really interesting to observe the subtle changes in people when change has come upon their lives. Usually dressing habits start to change first, like putting on or taking off little pieces of jewelry that weren't there or were there before. Then, after a while, even their attitude towards other people start to change. And when that happens, there usually isn't any going back.

甫行遇雨,無故惹嗔
To be honest, today really wasn't one of those terribly miserable days.
But I just hate getting caught in the rain while I was on my bike, especially when I just started the engine.
姑且不論會讓我擔心那台放在不怎麼防水的背包裡的PSP,光是要熄火拿雨衣再重新發車這個過程就夠讓人火大的了。
這大概也就是所謂的天有不測風雲吧~~
不過不管怎麼說,好歹今天是入秋以來的第一個鋒面來臨的日子。
忍受了好一陣子的濕熱天氣,也似乎該劃上了個句號。
雖說這城市看不到滿街秋葉換裝的綺麗,但多少還是能感受到一點秋高氣爽所予人的心曠神怡。
故往的古人老愛稱秋風為煞風,但我卻始終只能在秋風中感受到灰色的浪漫。
當那乾爽的涼意劃過臉頰的頃刻,髮絲就恰似展開的雙翼般飛起,靈魂也就隨之翩然起舞。
飛舞著,飛舞著....就回到了感動所棲息的故鄉。
